The candidate must be admitted as a first year master's student in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Data Science curriculums at the University of Tartu. There are two application rounds.
1. In their motivatsional video the students appoint their company prefence.
2. For the student to have a better chance of a good matchmaking in the Programme, the University might recommend a second position for an interview.
3. After the interview(s), the students and companies will make the final decisions.
1.1 Motivation video (up to three minute length; English or Estonian)
1.1.1 Describe why you decided to join the Industrial Master’s Programme in IT and how participating in the programme will help you achieve your future goals.
1.1.2 Explain your company choice and research interests.
1.1.3 Describe what tools and skills do you use in your time management. What do you base your decisions on about what and in what order should be done?
1.1.4 Describe a situation, where you have taken the leading position - what are you proud of? What would you do differently today? (It could be organizing a trip with your friends, leading a homework project or some other work related situation etc.)
1.2 CV - describe your past education work and experience. Don’t forget to add a link to your repository (like GitHub).
1.3 Apply using the form. Add your name, phone number, e-mail, curriculum, motivational video link and a company preference.
1.4 We will assess your motivation letter, CV and your master studies admission score.
2.1 Three best applicants to each company will participate in an interview at the company.
2.2 Final results will be decided by December.

November-December 2020 - Thipartie interviews with companies and University
End of December 2020 - Final results and decisions
