Graduation ceremony and handing out of diplomas in UT Institute of Computer Science
The UT Faculty of Science and Technology greets the graduates on public virtual ceremony 20th June at 12.00 here.
The graduation documents are handed out on 19th, 25th, 26rh, 29th and 30th June, from 10 to 12 and from 13 to 16 o’clock in Delta building (Narva mnt 18), room 3002. Make sure to bring your ID! We kindly ask you to enter the room one-by-one and keep 2 m distance while waiting for your turn.
If necessary, students may authorize another person to pick up their diploma by signing a dedicated authorization letter. Acceptable forms are, for example, digitally signed, scanned or photographed
authorization letters. An example of the text for the authorization letter is “I, Forename Family name, ID number, authorize Forename Familyname, ID number to take out my graduation documents from the University of Tartu. Signature, Date”. The authorization letter must be sent beforehand to the ati.study [ät] ut.ee or take with, when taking out the documents.
From the 2nd July 2020, graduates can collect their diplomas at the Office of Academic Affairs (Jakobi 1, entrance from the courtyard of the UT main building). If possible, send an advance notification to the office by email to diplom [ät] ut.ee
Exceptionally, the diploma can also be delivered to the student by registered mail or courier service, for a fee (sending in Estonia 8 EUR, sending abroad 15 EUR). We start sending out diplomas by post the earliest the 2nd July. Graduates can optionally order a certified copy of the diploma by e-mail (if necessary, the copy can be endorsed by the electronic seal of the university).
Please make sure to return lent UT laptop (Delta keskus, Narva mnt 18, room 2051) and books to library. It is also possible to send the laptop via post, for more information please contact ati.comp [ät] ut.ee.
