Delta Career Day
Delta Career Day, which takes place on February 21 at the UT Academic Sports Club is a jointly organized career day by the University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science, School of Economics and Business Administration, and the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics.
The purpose of the event is to bring together students and practical training and career opportunities offered by companies in the field.
The event is held as a fair - companies will do expositions of their materials. Students can correspondingly get familiarized with the materials and create direct connections with representatives of the companies.
The deadline for participating in the Delta Career Day is February 3. You can register here.
Organizing a Delta Career Day will incur additional costs for the university, but we do not want to ask participants for a classical entry fee. Instead, we ask you to rate the value of Delta's career day for your company on a five-point system (rating "1" - slightly valuable; "5" - very valuable).
“1” - 128€
“2” - 256€
“3” - 512€
“4” - 1024€
“5” - 2048€
There is a 3x3m area for each company. We will provide chairs, tables and electricity according to the requirements. The booths do not have walls so we recommend bringing roll-ups or screens.
There are two wardrobes at the disposal where you can leave your belongings. Wardrobes are located in the back rooms of the hall. There is also a small lounge for exhibitors.
You can start setting up your booth at 9 am.
At the event, we have a separate area where all interested companies can make a five-minute pitch talk to students. If you are interested in this, then please mark this on the registration form.
Visit to the Delta Centre
Company representatives are welcome to take part in a guided Delta tour. If you are interested in the tour, then mark it in the registration form.
Parking in front of the UT Academic Sports Club is paid. More information can be found here.
All participants are welcome to take part in the Delta Career Day after-party, which takes place on February 21 at 5 pm. If you are participating, then mark it on the registration form so we can better prepare for the event.
