VoteID 2011 (September 28th-30th, 2011, Tallinn, Estonia)
The 3rd international conference on e-voting and identity will be held in
Tallinn, Estonia, 28-30 September 2011, with proceedings published by
Springer.
The 2nd international conference on e-voting and identity was held in
Luxembourg, 7-8 September 2009, with proceedings published
by Springer. The first edition was
held in Bochum on 4-5 October 2007 (see also the proceedings
by Springer). The second edition
was held in Luxembourg on 7-8 September (2009). VoteID 2009 was associated
with IAVoSS, the International
Association for Voting System Sciences.

- Finalized submission deadline (03.03.2011)
- Finalized the CFP. Submission server is now up (02.04.2011)
- The VoteID 2011 conference is co-located with ICEGOV 2011,
the 5th International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance, which will take
place in Tallinn during September 26-28.
- Estonia is the only country that has full-scale nation-wide e-voting.
There is considerably interest from Estonian "e-voting community" in this conference,
and we expect to get a lot of discussions.
- Invited speakers: Henrik Nore (Project manager of "e-vote 2011",
Norway) and Jens Groth (University College London)
- Location: Reception and the lunches are at Aatrium (Tallinn University
Mare building, Uus-Sadama 5, 3rd floor). The conference is in the room
M-213 (Mare building, 2nd floor).
- Rene Peralta from NIST will organize an extra meeting on e-voting one day
after the VOTEID 2011 conference. If you are interested, please plan to stay in Tallinn until Saturday evening.

how is it different from other systems, and how can we leverage this knowledge in the
