Practical Info for Current MSc Students

Master's programme in Software Engineering
The international Masters programme in Software Engineering aims at providing students with advanced software engineering and management skills, as well as specialized skills in two major application domains: enterprise systems and embedded real-time systems. The Master´s programme is jointly delivered by the two largest public universities in Estonia - University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a joint degree signed by both universities.

Graduation Ceremonies
Graduation Ceremony of Realia et naturalia at the University of Tartu: date will be announced in Spring 2013. The ceremony will be broadcasted live by UTTV.
Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Informatics at the Tallinn University of Technology: date will be announced in Spring 2013.
Access to the ceremonies is free to everyone (you are free to invite your family and friends) but it's suggested to be there early (at least 30 minutes before the beginning). Please note that there is no academic dress at the ceremonies at Estonian universities. The general graduation etiquette is semi-formal wear (for men usually black tie).

For information about the course(s) "Practical Training" (MTAT.03.206 and MTAT 03.237) please contact Vambola Leping (vambola.leping@ut.ee).
Introductory seminar for the Practical Training courses takes place every year in the beginning of September and February. The exact time and place will be sent to all the students via the UT lists.
